The action group formed by residents concerned over the proposed commercial developments in and around East Midland Airport.
The group formed after a meeting was held at Diseworth Village Hall on 8th June 1998. The meeting was called as a response to the widespread concern expressed in the local communities towards the commercial developments like the proposed Granada service area sited adjacent to junction 23A on the M1 motorway.
